How To Make Your Own: Mayonnaise

Love from scratch cooking?  Me too.  Here is how to make your own mayonnaise in about five minutes.

Here's what you need:

  • 2 Egg yolks (Save the whites for something else)
  • 1 cup of oil (olive, canola, or vegetable)
  • 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1 dash of salt
  • 1 dash of pepper

Here's what to do:

  • Whisk it and add oil slowly
  • Chill and serve

Inexpensive, quick, and easy . . . not to mention good!
