At the Bar: Hot Rum Toddy

Need another hot drink for cold days and nights?  Here is a derivation of a post from the other day-- the Hot Rum Toddy.  Prep time is under five minutes.

Here's what you need:

  • 2 oz. of light or dark rum
  • 1 cube of sugar
  • 2-3 oz. of boiling water
  • 1 lemon slice
  • Fresh ground nutmeg

Here's what to do:

  • Dissolve sugar with hot water in Irish coffee mug
  • Stir in rum
  • Top with lemon slice and nutmeg

Enjoy.
